| Predators Team Report (Yahoo! Sports) |
|
The Nashville Predators have taken an internal view of the free agency period, preferring to lock in their own talent with long-term contracts instead of pursuing new talent on the market. When training camp begins, the Predators will have few openings for new players. Coach Barry Trotz sees that as a plus since he said the identity of the team has already been formed. Trotz admits that he is concerned with the talent-stocking efforts of Central Division rivals Columbus and Chicago, but he thinks the Predators have the pieces for another strong year. Still missing is a top six-level forward, a problem that could become even more of a dilemma if forward Alexander Radulov decides to stay in Russia.
