Will the player who wants to fill Marian Hossa's skates please stand up? Don't everybody jump at once. As the start of the 2008-09 season inches closer and closer, the Thrashers are still left with one giant, gaping hole in their roster following the trade of Hossa to Pittsburgh late last season for Erik Christensen, Colby Armstrong, and Angelo Esposito. Yes, Hossa was as good as gone at the end of the season if general manager Don Waddell had held on to him—as evidenced by his subsequent signing with Detroit this summer—but that still doesn't mean it was a good trade if Atlanta isn't able to replace his scoring totals this season. Marty Reasoner is a nice replacement for Bobby Holik, who left for New Jersey.
